We all have the same reason to share our pain
All we want is our life to be the same
W can not turn back the time
When life was sweeter and so sublime
The tragic event that happened that day
Made our hearts and lives into disarray
The sleepless nights our thoughts run wild
The heart is crushed when we lost our child
Nightmares come in and cloud our mind
Cruel and tormenting they are not kind
What do we do to ease our pain
We feel so lost with nothing to gain
The devastation and grief they leave behind
Envelopes you totally heart and mind
You look for answers that are never there
Anger and grief follow you everywhere
Your faith in God is now strained to the limit
When all you want is to hold them another minute
You would gladly trade places without a doubt
So they can live and learn what life's all about
This is one thing we would gladly do
We know this wish will never be true
We look to God and wonder why
Our loved one had chose to die
What did we do wrong to deserve such a fate
When they left this world on that tragic date
God answered their pleas and made them free
Please don't mourn and weep for me
For now I live with God for eternity
Now as I look at the pictures and see their face
I know deep in my heart they are in a better place
