We have life while others have died
We have love while other have tried
We have both lost a son
But now we are friends one by one
WE cannot believe why we did not see
Why our sons felt so lost and empty
We have lost a son we cannot replace
All we can do know is try to remember their face
Our grief and pain so deep and filled with despair
That can only show that our love is still there
Yet when we think about all the why's
We raise our head up to the skies
We ask Oh Lord why did you take our Son
Then I remember he gave his only one
We remember and never forget
In this life our biggest regret
For What we have lost we cannot replace
But our love for them shows on our face
Then one day our time will come
When we will reunite with our son
