What is Love I heard them say
A word we use every day
Is it love or infatuation
Or is it just a simple explanation
I asked myself what would I say
Of what the word love means today
A simple smile a tender kiss
A moment to savor just like this
A special song a warm embrace
The glow I see upon your face
To walk along hand in hand
No words are said you understand
Love is special love is real
An emotion that you always feel
Love runs deep into the heart
The moment it hits right from the start
Life will change it's meaning to
You fell in love and yes it's true
Sometimes life will throw a curve
Fate comes by you don't deserve
A love is taken away from you
Your heart is empty and you are blue
Just remember the life that you had
All the good times forget the bad
For when you love is deep and true
Your heart will remember just for you
Love is precious and it is free
Money can buy it but it's empty
What is love I heard them say
A feeling in your heart that wont fade away
When I see the look upon your face
I see true love in it's place
A love so true and just for me
And best of all it was free
