As the turbulent storm with it's lightning so bright
Thunders across the sky turning day into night
The rain that falls from the sky to the ground
Adds the patter on the roof that enhances the sound
Sometimes when the storm has moved on it's away
A beautiful rainbow outlines the dark clouds of grey
It arches spread across a sky so sullen and dark
The covenant of God has just left its mark
His promise to us when it rained 40 days and 40 nights
He gave us his word that showed in the rainbow so bright
For I have made a promise to this I hold true
My Rainbow is my proof of my word to you
For all that is good and all I have done
For I like you has lost my Son
He gave his life for all of you
My Rainbow is pure and so true
My angels are weeping tears flow from their eyes
That forms the Rainbow in those dark grey skies
Their love and beauty that radiates so bright
Makes the beautiful rainbow with their holy light
So when the storm ends and the rainbow appears
Remember my Angels and their holy tears
