In the Still of the Night
Is when I long to hold you tight
My heart still yearns for you to be
Here by my side and next to me
In the still of the Night
In the darkness before the light
My heart feels like it was stabbed with a knife
When you decided to take your own life
I still cry because I am all alone
You are not here to share our home
In the Still of the Night
Why didn't you try to fight
I don't know why you decided to go
I feel that I will never know
What you did you thought was right
By taking your life in the still of the night
