Remember The Tree
The hot summer days are coming to an end
The beginning of autumn starts to begin
Once leaves were green now turning to brown
As they begin to fall and land on the ground
The tree once full is starting to change
It now appears different though it's still the same
The tree is like us as we go through our life
The leaves that fall are part of our strife
Although things have happened to us I know
We are like the tree still trying to grow
Once we were once full like the tree up above
Until our lives changes we lost someone we loved
Our body is the same that hasn't changed
Deep inside our heart will never be the same
We still grow like the tree of life
Through all the heartaches and the strife
As the season changes to fall
Remember the tree it still stands tall
