It is with heavy heart that I write today
My words of love is what I say
You have left this world as we now know
You must move on I have to let go
My heart aches with each thought of you
This is important that I must do
For in the realm of God's love
You must be free to grow above
I am only mortal and weak
I do not know of things you seek
God sent his messenger to me today
Surrounded by angels and you were ok
He told me I needed to let you go
Deep in my heart where it does show
For you will always be with me
In my heart so hurt and empty
So I made my peace with God today
Said my goodbye in my own special way
For in this life I still must grow
To help others that you know
So as I say I release you my Son
My work on earth has just begun
