On Father's Day

What do you do on Father's Day
You have no words left to say
A day they set aside for you
Now you wonder what to do
The life you had now has changed
Joy and happiness has become strange
You never knew what life would be
Or how it would become full of misery
Who would have thought that you would lose someone
The emptiness and grief has only just begun
This Father's day will come and go
With the same old questions you don't know
If you reach deep down and look into your heart
The loved one you lost will always be a part
The love and memories you have locked away
They just might surface on Father's Day
If your heart and mind can't accept
One thing I know we will never forget
So when Father's day does finally arrive
Remember them because you are still alive
On this Father's day my wish for you
To find love and peace and comfort to
