Lonely Teardrops

Lonely teardrops that fall from my eyes
Searching for you up high in the sky
Everything has changed since the day you died
Left me devastated you know how much I cried
Wondering why you left and where you are
Out in heaven beyond the farthest star
My mind will not let me rest
It feels like I'm taking a test
There is no grade or score
You are gone forever more
Lonely teardrops will they ever stop
My mind feels like a spinning top
How can I keep up this pace?
I was the last one to see you face
My mind will never understand
Why I was given this terrible hand
Even though the tears had dried
My heart breaks down deep inside
My mind will never know
Just why you had to go
Lonely teardrops still fall from my eyes
My mind keeps asking…Why? Why? Why?
One thing I don't accept
Why you did this while I slept
Didn't you think that I cared?
If only you would have shared
Then I wouldn't be lonely
You would be here with me
On that dreadful date
You chose your final fate
Now your life came to an end
Now my heart will never mend
All I have left to say
I miss you more with each passing day
