Hope can stand for many different things at different times
It can mean the first day of spring with the warm sunshine
It is hope that turns the wrong into right
It is hope that sees the eternal light
But there are times when things are blue
The things that you hope for don't even come true
Your faith is strained and put to the test
Only God knows what is best
Today we speak of hope once again
For our lives have changed and need to mend
We now hope for peace of mind
Maybe a friend who could be so kind
We hope to find a way to ease our pain
To find answers with nothing to gain
We hope and pray each and every night
In hopes that God will show us what is right
The hopes we have now are not the same
As we try to begin living once again
Look deep in your soul right to the heart
There you will find hope it's always been a part
