Hello Dad

Hello Dad I want you to know
I left this earth I just had to go
I did not die to cause you pain
I had nothing left here to gain
Try as I might everything went wrong
I could not handle it I could not be strong
Try as I must I had nothing to lose
So my fate I was left to choose
The family I wanted I couldn't obtain
Life can be cruel but it's not the same
I struggled and fought all of my life
The time now came to end all my strife
The anguish and torment that I did endure
Would vanish forever that I am sure
I can see you tremble, shake and cry
Looking for answers that you don't know why
I fought my last battle and now I'm free
Of all earthy pain for eternity
