Out of grief and despair we ventured here
We tell our woes and shed our tears
With broken hearts and shattered dreams
Sometimes we vent sometime we scream
We have sought help from those who think they know
To them it's like reading a script from a picture show
The help they offered was learned from a book
After 1 session I knew I had to look
Then 1 day as I was surfing the net
In a daze and full of regrets
I found these groups of suicide loss
I gave it a try let's give it a toss
I have nothing to lose if anything to gain
My life had changed I am not the same
What I found surprised me that day
Their understanding and compassionate way
They aren't professionals just people like me
Who lost a loved one to soon to destiny
They listen they post they don't criticize
They shed the same tears from their very own eyes
To these special people I just wanted to say
Without you I am lost and would never have found the way
With every beat of my heart and every breath I take
I found these special people it was no mistake
So my heart goes out to all that you do
Now it's my turn to say God Bless and thank you
