Grieve We Do
To each of us we grieve so much
To us it seems as life lost its touch
The visions that dance around in our heads
Becomes nightmares we soon learn to dread
The questions and answers we will never know
How could our loved one decided to just let go
Was life so cruel and did a demon take their place
The answer was frightening when you gazed upon their face
Time has passed your life is not the same?
There is still anger and people to blame
One thing for sure that we can't forget
Why this happened and all the regrets
Does life hold any more surprises for you
Don't they understand what you are going through
How much more do you punish yourself?
Your mind feels like an empty store shelf
Once it was full of things every day
Now it is barren since they passed away
This is why we continue to grieve
For us the survivors there is no reprieve
