In the aftermath of grief and sorrow
Our lives change just like tomorrow
We have now made it through another day
We weren't aware of the price we would pay
Idle time once we yearned for is now our worst fear
Our minds searches for answers while our eyes shed a tear
Answers are few and questions cloud our minds
As we still look for something we never will find
We survive as we awaken and face each new day
Our world of happiness and joy just went away
Now we live in a life that is filled with despair
Gone are our dreams that we were going to share
Our love so strong our grief so intense
Nothing to us makes any more sense
So in our aftermath of all the pain and the sorrow
One thing for sure there will be a tomorrow
