As I gaze at the stars in the warm summer night
A shooting star goes by as it loses it light
The soft warm breeze blows through the air
So softly and gently without a care
The Moon is full and shines so bright
As it reflects from the sun's great light
The array of stars in the night time hours
Sometimes will amaze you with meteor showers
The beauty of the heavens on this starlit night
Shows me the greatness of God's pure might
