It was 20 years ago I know
You were born as white as the snow
What little did I ever realize?
Your life would end in suicide
Now I am left here all alone
As I watched you as you grown
I wish I would have known
I only wish it would have shown
Then I would have seen
The turmoil in your being
Now all I have is despair
All because you're not there
God knew what was right
He called you home that night
Deep in my heart I feel
That this isn't real
Now you are no longer here
I just wish that you were near
The time has now come for me
To thank God that you are free
For in his greatest love
You live in heaven up above
