Sometimes when you call my name
People look at you like you are insane
To them they thing you makes to much strife
They think you should get on with your life
They paid their respects they said their farewells
If only they knew the pain and the hell
The lives it has changed forever that day
Since you've gone and left that way
To think not long ago we were in their shoes
Now we are different we have paid the dues
The price we paid was tragic and deep
Our hearts so broken the tears we do weep
With minds so filled with emotional stress
Our hearts are heavy and filled with duress
Sometimes family and friends can be cruel
The thing you are crazy and maybe a fool
Be proud and happy when you call my name
You are the survivor and you are not to blame
