Hello Mom it has now been a year
I watch over you as you shed a tear
A year ago my Angel Wings I found
Now I live with angels all around
I know this has been very hard for you
I had no choice of what I was about to do
You could not have understood or know
All the pain and suffering is why I had to go
As I took my very last breath that day
Jesus was beside me and showed me the way
He told me how he had seen me die
He knew that you would never understand why
In my darkest hour when my life was through
Jesus showed me the light and I knew it was true
When my Angel Wings day does arrive
I am free on the other side and alive
With heavy heart and pain I can see you soul
Since I received my Angel Wings I am whole
Mom please don't cry and weep for me
I have my Angel Wings and I am free
